June 2, 2011 freedom to Create workshops began in Abilene, Texas!!!
We are a group of artist in all varying stages of our skill level. Some professional artist and others who have had a artist hidden in their hearts longing to get out!!
Every artist at some point has had to deal with a lie that stolen their courage to step out and create.
As we gathered this first night we began with a 7ft by 3ft primed piece of canvas stretched on the wall.
We began to search out the lies the enemy uses to intimidate us from creating and then we
"laughed"
at the lies just like in Psl. when it says God laughed at the enemy, then Jesus said He simply does what He sees His father doing.
Jesus LAUGHS and things happen!
The JOY of the Lord is our strength!! I asked the group to ask Jesus what His laugh looks like, NOT what He looks like laughing BUT what does His laughter
look like ,
feel like,
and what it causes to happen.
I JUST LOVE WHAT GOT PAINTED OVER THOSE LIES!!
